Healthy teeth and gums require regular visits. The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry recommends starting dental visits at age 12 months. Why so early? The average child by age 3 has 3 decayed teeth and the first visit establishes good habits and teaches parents:

- How to care for an infant's or toddler's mouth
- Appropriate use of fluoride for your child
- Oral habits, including finger and thumb sucking
- Ways to prevent oral and facial accidents and trauma
- Teething and developmental milestones
- The relationship between diet and oral health

A positive dental experience for children is important to ensure a lifetime of healthy teeth. Our doctors and staff have the patience and compassion that will make your child's visit a comfortable one. We encourage parents to be a part of each appointment and have special window seating in each patient's room.

Dr. Fauble and Dr. Hauk are on staff at Blessing Hospital. When a child or an adult may need extensive treatment, outpatient surgery is an option right here in town.

- Kid's Day: A fun-filled day offered once a year. Games, prizes, balloons and more
